Intro paragraph: In Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Huck, the protagonist, Huck, is greatly influenced by four people: Widow Douglas, Tom Sawyer, Pap, and Jim.Body Paragraph 1: WIDOW DOUGLASa. How Widow Douglas influences Huck directlyb. How Widow Douglas influences Huck indirectlyc. Quote/Passage and Page # that illustrates A or B Well, Huck doesn’t like how Widow Douglas is so decent and how he have to dress, and trying to make him sivilize. Page 1-“ She would sivilize me, it was riugh living with her, dismal regular, decent”. He didn’t like her way of living. Huck’s not use to her kind of living, which makes him leave. Page1- “ One day, I could’nt stand it no more, until I was free and satisfed”. Body Paragraph 2: TOM SAWYERTom Sawyer makes Huck obedient because, if Huck doesn’t go back, then he’ll be punished. Pg.1- Huck ran away from Widow Douglas, and Huck said, “ I’m starting a band of robbers, and if you return to Widow Douglas and be respectful, you might join. Huck likes Tom and want to do the things he do. He wanted to join Tom in the band of robbers. Pg.1- “so I went back”. That’s being obedient.
